We are delighted to announce the appointment of our Security Operations Manager Ireland, Richard Griffin.
Richard comes with a military background and served 21 years in the Irish Defence Forces at home and abroad. Since leaving the military, Richard has focused on a career in the corporate security industry.
Richard stated; “Ireland’s expanding financial, technology and pharmaceutical industries give security professionals a platform to grow and showcase their levels of professionalism. Joining the CIS team as they step into the Irish security arena is such an exciting prospect, and to be part of the CIS expansion into Ireland was an opportunity I could not miss. I believe in a foundation based on professionalism, continual training, and mutual respect for each other.
As recently seen in Dublin, security must be able to respond quickly to changing situations as they develop, I must commend our officers on their professionalism during this period, with support from our UK based team, we had no sites affected by the riots. The levels of support from the UK based team was exceptional, with this level of support the CIS Ireland contracts will no doubt be successful. I look forward to being part of this great team and help drive the CIS brand and ethos across new sites here in Ireland. The future of the Irish security industry is Blue and Gold!”
