Work placement experience is vital in bridging the gap between academic learning and the professional world. CIS Security Limited is working with UCL’s Department of Security and Crime Science, offering students a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insights into the dynamic landscape of the security industry.
Today, we welcomed Eliana Woosnam, who is studying for a Security and Crime Science Degree at UCL, to undertake an internship, working with Ray Marskell MSyl and CIS’s in-house intelligence team.
This partnership provides students with valuable practical experience and industry insights and fosters long-term collaboration between UCL and CIS Security Limited. Together, we can develop industry-ready graduates who are versatile, problem-solving crime scientists equipped with a variety of interdisciplinary quantitative, qualitative, and technical skills that they have learned in the context of real-world applications, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations and projects.
