Last week, CIS Security Limited and 40 Leadenhall supported the City of London Police (CoLP) with their Phone Snatching Initiative. Feedback from the team was as follows:
Andrew Gough, Head of Security – “Phone snatching is a crime that is happening daily and affecting everyone within the City of London. The CoLP have been working tirelessly to stop this, both by physical policing plans targeting the criminals and by raising awareness for those that come into the square mile, either as workers or tourists. This street marking is a great innovative idea to help raise that awareness further”.
Marvin Beharie, Guest Services Supervisor – “Safety and security in and around the City of London is of paramount importance. Therefore, I believe it is a great initiative set by the City of London Police to help raise awareness within our community.
In recent months we have had a rise in phone snatching in and around the City of London impacting residents and city workers. In response to this trend, the City of London has responded by creating this initiative aimed at raising awareness and educating the public about how to protect themselves and their phones”.

The safety and wellbeing of our occupiers is a top priority, and we’re committed to raising awareness and helping everyone stay alert and secure.
