Last Thursday, CIS Security had the honour of attending the exclusive ‘Staff and Contractors Preview’ of the newly transformed Sainsbury Wing at The National Gallery.
Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most treasured cultural institutions, the National Gallery in London welcomes over six million visitors annually. As part of its landmark 200th anniversary, the Gallery has completed a major two-year revitalisation of the Sainsbury Wing – its main entrance and a key architectural feature designed by the renowned postmodern architects Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown.
The project included carefully considered updates to the wing’s façade, foyer, and mezzanine, all aimed at creating a more accessible and welcoming arrival experience for the public.
This special occasion was made even more memorable by the presence of our Founder, kenneth palmer, and his wife, reflecting how proud we are to support this iconic national treasure.
We’re incredibly grateful to the National Gallery for inviting us to share in this moment, and we’re thrilled for the public reopening of the Sainsbury Wing this Saturday, 10 May 2025.
