CIS Work Experience

Last week, CIS welcomed two fantastic work experience students: Erin Wilson, Year 12 from Beths Grammar School, and Alisha Rawn, Year 10 from Ditton Park Academy in Slough.

Work experience plays a key role in shaping young people’s understanding of the workplace, and at CIS, we are proud to support that journey.

Erin shared; “I had such a great week at CIS for my work experience – everyone was really welcoming and made me feel part of the team from day one. I spent time with HR, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, and it was so interesting to see how everything comes together behind the scenes. I’ve learned a lot, and it’s definitely helped me think more about my future career. I am very grateful for the opportunity!”

Alisha reflected on her experience; “I had an incredible week at CIS Security, where I not only gained valuable insights and skills but also had the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team. This experience has truly set me up for a bright future, giving me the confidence and knowledge to thrive ahead.”

As part of their placement in the Marketing team, Erin and Alisha created videos titled ‘A Day in the Life of a Work Experience Student’, capturing their journey with us – we have shared the videos below.

Well done, Erin and Alisha – it was a pleasure having you at CIS!
