On the 21st May CIS Security Limited were honoured to attend the ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards 2025. We were proud to see two of our front-line colleagues recognised as winners along with CIS as a company. We would like to congratulate everyone who was nominated for their exceptional life saving acts and bravery in the industry we operate in.
In January this year, expectant mother Odia arrived at University Hospital Lewisham in active labour and whilst in the car park, she quickly realised she wouldn’t make it to the birthing unit and called for help. Without hesitation, CIS Security Officer, Adeniyi Oloye, stepped in to assist, ensuring a safe and smooth delivery. Moments later, CIS Security Officer, Mohammed Elamine Chabat, arrived to support, keeping mother and baby stable until medical teams took over. Their quick thinking, compassion, and dedication turned an intense moment into the beautiful and safe arrival of baby Ocean.
CIS Winner, Adeniyi Oloye stated:
“I felt an immense sense of pride in being able to help at such a crucial moment and play a role in the delivery of baby Ocean. This was a reminder that security colleagues play a muchbroader role in ensuring the well-being of people, not just through protection but also by offering care and compassion when it matters most. It really is all in a day’s work for us!”
It is a challenging environment responding to anti-social behaviour, criminal activity, and incidents of individuals displaying the intentions of ending their lives by entering the River Thames. In August last year whilst on shift, Daniel Williams, Night Supervisor at London Bridge City, responded and treated an individual who had been stabbed in the chest then led negotiating with a female threatening to jump in the river whilst implementing a safeguarding plan until emergency services arrived on the scene.
London Bridge City pays particular attention to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) through the Safe Strides Project and Safe Haven, Daniel has championed these projects ensuring the team are alert to the challenges and proactive in the implementation of policies and procedures. Daniel has positively impacted the lives of over twenty members of the public during critical incidents by intervening and preventing serious assaults, responding to life threatening injuries or preventing self-harm, all completed with a smile, compassion, outstanding customer service and his unwavering steadfastness.

“I’m honoured to receive this award. If you told me 3 years ago that I would be an award-winning supervisor at LBC I would have laughed at you. This award has shown me how much I have achieved in a short space of time. Anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
