Pedal Paddle Peak with 22 Bishopsgate

Pedal. Paddle. Peak. For a Powerful Cause.

This Saturday, 22 people from the 22 Bishopsgate team, which includes CIS Security team members, will be participating in the Pedal Paddle Peak Challenge for an all-day, all-out adventure through the stunning Lake District, combining cycling, kayaking, and hiking to raise funds and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

This isn’t just a fitness challenge. It’s a commitment to support over 110,000 people across the UK living with muscle-wasting conditions like Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy. These are conditions that gradually strip individuals of the ability to move, breathe, and live independently.

Security Operations Manager, Ricky N, shares; “As someone deeply passionate about fitness, this cause hits close to home. Working out is my outlet, my therapy. It’s what keeps me grounded… Our muscles are involved in nearly everything we do, from smiling and hugging our loved ones to simply standing tall and breathing deeply. It’s easy to take that for granted, but so many people are fighting daily just to keep hold of those basic abilities. I’ll be using my strength to ride, to paddle, to climb, and to fight for a future where no one has to face muscular dystrophy alone. It’s fantastic to participate in a challenge like this with a number of the 22 Bishopsgate Team.”

We are so proud to support our team as they channel their strength, stamina, and determination into something far bigger than a finish line.

Please consider donating and cheering them on as they push limits to power hope.
