Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, and our People & Culture Director, Tracy Plant – Chartered Fellow (FCIPD), joined the City of London Corporation panel discussion focusing on Mental Health in the Workplace.

This powerful discussion explored how organisations can tackle stigma, and help create healthier, more supportive workplace cultures.

With the theme, Action, the session was opened by Helen Fentimen OBE JP, Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board and Chair of the Community and Children’s Services Committee, and expertly moderated by Anastasia Vinnikova (MCIPD), Suicide Prevention and Project Officer at the City of London Corporation.

Tracy was joined by Andy Bell, Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Mental Health, and Richard Martin, Chief Executive Officer of the Mindful Business Charter.

Reflecting on the session, Tracy shares; “At CIS, integrating wellbeing into everyday leadership behaviours has delivered tangible results, creating a happier, more supportive workforce, improving performance, and strengthening a sense of belonging. Every organisation should have clear, visible commitments and practical, accessible support.”

We would like to leave you with this week’s reminder:
Take time. Create space. Check in with colleagues. Ensure people are truly listened to and heard.
