National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day

On Wednesday 17th June,  CIS were proud to celebrate National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day. This day recognises the essential work and vital contributions of non-clinical healthcare workers and highlights all professions in the delivery of health and social care to people across the UK.

We were invited as part of the wider Facilities team, alongside other service partners, to showcase CIS Security and the range of services we provide to both the public and Lewisham and Greenwich Trust.

The day was led by Deputy Manager at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust, Joseph Ebo, and the Site Manager at Lewisham Hospital, Alex Ebojoh, both of whom were instrumental in ensuring the success of the event.

On the day, we highlighted the strengths of CIS and the value of the services we deliver not only in supporting hospital operations, but also in contributing to the wider community. There was a great deal of interest from attendees, and our team engaged with the public by offering travel advice, safeguarding guidance, and information on how best to utilise our services.

Joseph Ebo, Deputy Manager, stated:
“It was fantastic to be able to highlight what we do for CIS and engage with the community.”

Rifat Hasan, Account Manager, stated:
“To be able to showcase what we do and meet the people we serve and hear there positive stories about the security team on site, makes me proud to be part of CIS”
