Last week, another successful First Response Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC 3) Training Course was held onsite at the Hallmark Building, 40 Leadenhall.
FREC 3 is a higher qualification than a standard First Aid at Work course, and it equips individuals with the skills to deliver immediate, effective care in emergency situations.
CIS Company Trainer Darcy Fletcher BSc MSc CMgr MCMI states; “We recently delivered a FREC 3 course on site at Hallmark Building for 40 Leadenhall. Delivering the course highlighted the vital importance of high-quality, hands-on training in preparing responders for real-world emergencies, whilst working in a dynamic ever-changing industry. The candidates brought enthusiasm and worked incredibly hard. They will make great first responders. Well done, Woody, Raju, Kamran and Kemal.”
40 Leadenhall Duty Shift Manager, Kemal Turan states; “FREC training has taught me to have the confidence to act when others hesitate; not waiting for help to arrive but to become it. Having more frontline staff FREC trained will prepare us as a collective for dealing with more severe situations if they were to arise on our site. It not only teaches you to be prepared, but it also educates you on the need to act within seconds – trained staff can reduce the severity of injuries, thus preventing further escalations and allowing for an enhanced emergency response. Having a site team that can deal with major trauma incidents will install confidence in occupiers and their employees that they are in safe hands.”
A big thank you to Andrew Gough for hosting, Darcy Fletcher BSc MSc CMgr MCMI for running the course, and a huge well done to Woody, Raju, Kamran, and Kemal for their dedication and performance!
